Angola X is committed to transparent attribution of all data sources used on angolax.com. This policy describes how we source, process, and attribute financial and economic data presented on our platform.
Attribution Standards
All data presented on Angola X is attributed to its primary source. Our standard attribution format is:
“Source: [Institution Name]” — displayed alongside data tables, charts, and key metrics.
Where Angola X has processed, calculated, or derived data from primary sources, the attribution reads:
“Source: Angola X calculation based on [Institution Name] data”

Derived Data
Angola X calculates certain metrics that are not directly published by primary sources:
- Market capitalization in USD: Calculated by multiplying BODIVA share prices by total shares outstanding, converted at the BNA reference rate
- Real returns: Nominal returns adjusted for INE inflation data
- Sector aggregates: Combined metrics for banking sector equities
- Historical time series: Compiled from sequential primary source publications
All derived data is clearly labeled as Angola X calculations.
Data Licensing
Angola X accesses publicly available data from official Angolan institutions and international organizations. Where data is subject to specific licensing terms, Angola X complies with those terms.
Users of Angola X data (including API subscribers and enterprise data clients) must attribute data to Angola X when republishing. The required attribution is:
